About Deep Signal

Deep Signal is a media platform that lets you read AI news with context.

Existing AI news sites publish breaking news, but almost none structurally present the connections between stories — 'this paper builds on that technology from six months ago' or 'this release commercializes that research.'

Deep Signal automatically collects AI-related news from arXiv papers, Hacker News, TechCrunch, and official blogs of major AI companies, adding embedding-based related article links and contextual commentary.

Freshness Management

Article freshness is managed using FadeMem-style decay. Breaking news decays quickly, while paper reviews and foundational guides persist longer. Articles with high citation counts (referenced by other articles) have their decay suppressed.
